Some of you may have been confused by the change of plans...I am now scheduled to leave for Ecuador around the middle of January. I will begin in Quito, where the plan is to focus on the language and the group of Cristo Vive volunteers there. We hope to gain a strong base of leadership there, much like the one in Guayaquil, so that when we hold camps there, we won't necessarily have to send workers from Guayaquil to Quito. This will also help with the campers that we have in Quito, as it is important to maintain contact with them and their families throughout the year.
There is still much to be done before I leave...mainly fund raising. It is interesting trying to plan for all that I will need and to gather it a whole year in advance. I am looking at purchasing a laptop and other equipment which will make my job much simpler. I covet your prayers during these last couple of months with my family and friends here.
Happy Thanksgiving...we have so much to be thankful for...Let's live a life of gratitude.

Getting Ready!
My days in America are counting down as I am preparing for my full-time commitment to missions in Ecuador. I'm working on getting enough support for this upcoming year by traveling around and speaking to churches about sponsorship. It's been a time of prayer as I learn to trust in the Lord's guidance and providing for me.
Please pray for me as I endeavor to do the Lord's work, safety in travels, and His leading while I'm working in Ecuador and after I return.
If you want to know more about my commitment to missions in Ecuador or would like to help sponsor me during this time, please message me or visit http://www.cristovive.net for more information.
